Senior Manager, Brand Public Relations

I lead Brand PR and external reputation strategy for one of the most visible companies in the U.S. spirits industry, focused on executive positioning, earned media, issues and crisis management, and corporate external communications tied to business milestones, brand visibility, and cultural relevance.

Earlier in my tenure, I held a broader enterprise communications mandate, overseeing executive communications, internal communications, shareholder and family messaging, crisis response, and corporate citizenship. I served as a primary advisor to the C-suite during leadership transitions, enterprise change, and other high-stakes moments requiring alignment across employees, ownership, and external stakeholders.

As Heaven Hill’s portfolio grew and external visibility increased, leadership intentionally narrowed my scope to Brand PR and external reputation, where judgment, narrative discipline, and cultural fluency were most critical. That shift strengthened earned governance, clarified decision-making during issues, and allowed brand storytelling to scale responsibly across a highly visible portfolio.

Today, I partner closely with Marketing, Legal, HR, Finance, Operations, and executive leadership to guide how the company shows up externally, balancing growth, legacy, and reputational risk. I established the Brand PR Center of Excellence, defining governance, operating models, and standards for earned media, issues management, agency engagement, and external storytelling. I lead Brand PR strategy for company-defining moments, including a full corporate rebrand, a new headquarters opening, and the company’s 90th anniversary, as well as ongoing executive visibility, sponsorships, awards, and media moments that extend our brands into culture.

I also advise leadership through sensitive and unplanned situations — labor issues, reputational risk, and crisis moments — helping determine when to engage, what to say, and when restraint is the strongest option. My earlier enterprise experience continues to inform how I operate, grounding external decisions in an understanding of how messaging lands across audiences, even as my day-to-day focus is now intentionally centered on Brand PR.

I cut my teeth in the agency world, rising quickly from account coordinator to lead public affairs and PR campaigns for national clients across tech, food, healthcare, and advocacy. I thrived in high-pressure environments where strategic messaging met tight turnarounds, and where I learned to lead with both creativity and precision.
